My dear people of Obohia/Ekwerazu Town Ward ,

I wanted to share with you the core of my legislative agenda, which is built around five key focus points:

1. Engage with Residents Regularly: I believe that effective representation starts with listening to our constituents. We will prioritize regular town hall meetings, door-to-door visits, and other forms of engagement to ensure that our residents' voices are heard.

2. Support Local Businesses and Initiatives: We will work to create an environment that fosters entrepreneurship, innovation, and job creation by supporting local businesses and initiatives.

3. Advocate for Improved Basic Amenities: We will champion the upgrade and maintenance of essential services such as healthcare, education, sanitation, and infrastructure to enhance the quality of life for our residents.

4. Foster a Sense of Community and Social Cohesion: We will promote programs and activities that bring our residents together, celebrate our diversity, and build a stronger sense of community.

5. Work with Stakeholders to Attract Investment and Development Projects: We will collaborate with local stakeholders, private sector partners, and government agencies to attract investment and development projects that benefit our community.

These focus points will guide our campaign and legislative efforts, ensuring that we stay committed to serving the needs and aspirations of our constituents.

The long-awaited Mbaise USA Health Insurance Program officially commenced its beneficiary enrollment and data capturing today, Tuesday, 22nd April 2025 , at Umuihuocha Civic Hall, Obohia/Ekwereazu Ward , Ahiazu Mbaise LGA. This landmark program, a partnership between Mbaise USA Inc. and the Imo State Government through the Imo State Health Insurance Agency (IMSHIA) , aims to deliver quality and free healthcare to thousands of residents across Mbaise. Comr. Uchech’ukwu Wisdom , the Ahiazu Mbaise LGA Coordinator of the program, mobilized over 80 beneficiaries and was fully on ground to ensure smooth coordination and successful enrollment.
