ZONING ANALYSIS: A KEY TO HARMONIOUS REPRESENTATION IN OBOHIA/EKWERAZU TOWN WARD

In the pursuit of fair representation, the leaders of Obohia/Ekwerazu Town Ward have employed a crucial tool: zoning analysis. This thoughtful approach ensures that each community has an equal opportunity to lead and be represented, promoting harmony and inclusivity.

A recent examination of the ward's representation history revealed a disparity among communities. While some have had multiple terms, others have had little to no representation. The zoning analysis takes into account the number of terms served by each community, providing a clear picture of the imbalance.

Umuihuocha, for instance, has had only one term, while Elekenowasi, Amano, and Umuedo have each had two terms. Ekwerazu Town, unfortunately, has had no representation. This analysis has prompted the leaders to zone the councilor position to Umuihuocha Obohia, addressing the existing imbalance.

Aspirants who genuinely care about the community's progress will consider the zoning analysis and may choose to drop their aspiration to support the agreed-upon progressive move. This selfless act ensures a more harmonious and equitable political process.
