Subject: Disassociation from October 1st Protest

The Imo Concern Citizens For Electoral Integrity & Governance (ICCEIGG), a social advocacy group focused on promoting electoral reform, accountability, and good governance in Imo State, wishes to clarify its position regarding the nationwide protest scheduled for October 1st, 2024.

We hereby disassociate ourselves from this protest, as our objectives and strategies differ significantly from its goals. Our group's primary concern remains advancing electoral integrity and good governance within Imo State.

Key Points:

1. ICCEIGG does not endorse or participate in the October 1st protest.

2. Our mission centers on electoral reform, accountability, and good governance in Imo State.

3. We are currently undergoing consultations and documentation to support our grievances.

We urge the public to distinguish between our group's objectives and the October 1st protest. ICCEIGG will communicate its plans and activities transparently, ensuring clarity on our mission and goals.

Thank you for your understanding.

Signed,

Comr. Uchech'ukwu Wisdom O.

ICCEIGG Chief Admin
