UNVEILING THE UNCONSTITUTIONAL EZESHIP SCREENING/ELECTORAL COMMITTEE

The unconstitutional Ezeship Screening/Electoral Committee, led by Barr. Mathew Unanka, has once again exposed its true agenda of manipulation, selfishness, and personal enrichment at the expense of our community. This same individual, whose track record is riddled with failed leadership and self-serving actions, has now positioned himself at the helm of another divisive plot.  

A History of Deception and Exploitation

Barr. Mathew Unanka has a troubling history of leading Umuihuocha into avoidable crises:  

1. The First Ezeship Crisis  

As a supposed advisor, Barr. Unanka deceptively led Umuihuocha into filing numerous baseless court cases during the first Ezeship crisis. Innocent personalities were wrongly accused and involved in these fruitless legal battles. His motives were clear—to enrich himself as the attorney handling the cases. The huge sums spent on these cases only deepened the financial and emotional burden on the community.  

2. A Dubious Peace Agreement 

After exploiting the community’s resources and realizing the possibility of being probed, Barr. Unanka suddenly called for peace and reconciliation. This deceptive agreement, which he now parades as a deciding document for Ezeship succession, was merely a tool to cover his tracks and avoid accountability.  

3. The Land Dispute Mismanagement  

His reckless leadership extended to the land dispute with the Umuosuocha family. Instead of pursuing peaceful dialogue, Barr. Unanka pushed the community into another costly court case. After wasting millions in legal fees, they eventually sought dialogue—a move now rejected by the affected family due to the stress and financial losses they endured. The intended purpose of acquiring the land has since been defeated.  

4. Failed Security Committee

Under the late Eze Alilonu's administration, Barr. Unanka proposed a community security outfit and was appointed chairman of the security committee. However, the late Eze wisely monitored the committee closely, ensuring transparency and accountability. This oversight rendered the committee ineffective, preventing it from functioning as Barr. Unanka intended.  

A New Agenda for Selfish Gain

Now, as the community seeks a smooth transition to elect a new Eze, this same group is launching their security outfit under the guise of protecting the community. The real motive is clear—to use this outfit as a tool to intimidate and silence anyone who speaks against their selfish and evil plans.  

Exposing the Truth

The people of Umuihuocha will no longer tolerate such manipulative and exploitative leadership. The unconstitutional committee’s plans have been exposed, and their attempts to plunge our community into chaos for personal gain will not succeed.  

A Call for Unity and Vigilance

Let us remain vigilant and united against these deceptive tactics. The legitimate, constitutional structures of Umuihuocha are the only ones empowered to lead us into a future of peace, progress, and prosperity. Together, we must reject the divisive agenda of this unconstitutional committee and protect the integrity of our community.
