UNVEILING THE UNCONSTITUTIONAL EZESHIP SCREENING/ELECTORAL COMMITTEE

The unconstitutional Ezeship Screening/Electoral Committee , led by Barr. Mathew Unanka, has once again exposed its true agenda of manipulation, selfishness, and personal enrichment at the expense of our community. This same individual, whose track record is riddled with failed leadership and self-serving actions, has now positioned himself at the helm of another divisive plot.   A History of Deception and Exploitation Barr. Mathew Unanka has a troubling history of leading Umuihuocha into avoidable crises:   1. The First Ezeship Crisis    As a supposed advisor, Barr. Unanka deceptively led Umuihuocha into filing numerous baseless court cases during the first Ezeship crisis. Innocent personalities were wrongly accused and involved in these fruitless legal battles. His motives were clear—to enrich himself as the attorney handling the cases. The huge sums spent on these cases only deepened the financial and emotional burden on the community.   2. A D...

THE UZUKO UMUIHUOCHA LEADERSHIP CONTROVERSY: A THREAT TO COMMUNITY PROGRESS

Uzuko Umuihuocha , an Umunna sub-association, originally established under the leadership of the late Eze Alilonu to oversee local community development projects within the community. Unfortunately, the chairmanship of Uzuko Umuihuocha, currently held by Chief Emma Nneji, has been marred by allegations of self-interest, mismanagement, and outright disregard for the community's well-being.   A Pattern of Divisive Behavior One of the most egregious examples of Chief Nneji's divisive behavior is his role in instigating the conflict between Umuihuocha and Umuosuocha families. At a time when Dr. Paul Obasi and other major stakeholders were working tirelessly to resolve the land dispute at the proposed Federal Health Center site, Chief Nneji allegedly sabotaged their efforts by proposing that the late Eze demolish the building at the site without compensation. This reckless act has resulted in the land remaining in dispute to this day, denying the community a much-needed standard fe...

APC Consensus Primary: Obohia/Ekwerazu Ward Rejects Imposition Of Councillorship Candidate

Image
...Demands Maintenance Of Equity, Rotation Agreement The people of Obohia/Ekwereazu Ward in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, Imo State, have vehemently rejected the imposition of a candidate by some APC LGA Leaders in conspiracy with selfish individuals from the Ward.  The Ward Leaders are baffled as to how the list emerged without consulting critical Ward Leaders, sparking outrage among the people. The Ward, comprising five communities (Elekenowasi Obohia, Umuihuocha Obohia, Amano Obohia, Umuedo Obohia and Ekwereazu Town), had unanimously agreed to rotate the Councillorship Position, with Umuihuocha Obohia being the favored Community for 2024. The imposition, orchestrated by some LGA Leaders and selfish Ward individuals, violates the Zoning Agreement, breeding political instability. The people demand that the party respects the Zoning Agreement, selects a candidate from Umuihuocha Obohia, who has a better aspirant with a deep understanding of local legislation and the capacity to occupy a princ...
